Full Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be proficient in various medical practices, including telehealth services. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical environment to provide high-quality care to patients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform procedures such as catheterization and assist with medical imaging.
  • Provide triage services to prioritize patient care effectively.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Offer telehealth consultations as needed, ensuring accessibility for all patients.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology.
  • Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with familiarity in telehealth practices being a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of healthcare.

Pay: $75.00 per hour
