Full Job Description
An established and reputable cardiology practice affiliated with Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner with an excellent bedside manner and a strong commitment to learning. You will be part of a strong team with a supportive and mentoring supervising physician. At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as a PA/NP is preferred but willing to consider new graduates with a strong commitment to learning.
You will have an initial training period to help seamlessly transition you into our practice.

Description
- Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth setting.
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Assist the patient on their care pathway by facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Qualifications
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification.
- State licensed in California.
- DEA certification
- ACLS/BLS
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $65.00 – $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
