Newport Center Urgent Care is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team!
We are located in the Newport Center Medical Buildings in Newport Beach near Fashion Island. Our office provides Urgent and Primary Care so we offer a range of services including annual physicals, weight loss consultations, injuries, wound care, and sports medicine. We have a beautiful, clean office with an X-Ray on-site and a user-friendly EMR system. We look forward to you becoming a part of our team!
Requirements:
· PA – Valid California license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification
o OR
· NP – Valid California license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner and current national certification
· Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California
· Current, unrestricted DEA license
· Experience in ER, urgent care, or similar setting (minimum 1 year)
· Ability to work closing shift and some weekends
· Must have a flexible schedule
· Proficient with procedures, suturing, and I&D
· Experience using an EMR
· Positive attitude
· Willingness to work as a team member
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70.00 per hour
