OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and acute care environments. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to perform essential procedures such as cardiac catheterization and medical imaging. The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care, particularly focusing on geriatric patients and those requiring esthetic laser treatments. Must be Bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including phlebotomy and medical imaging.
• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures as needed.
• Provide outpatient care, including follow-up visits for chronic conditions.
• Manage acute care situations effectively, ensuring timely interventions.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
• Stay updated on medical coding practices to ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or equivalent program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Proficiency in medical terminology is essential.
• Experience in geriatrics, acute care, and inpatient settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment techniques is a plus.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and understand medical imaging processes.
• Strong communication skills (Bilingual Spanish) to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
