Full Job Description
We currently have a PA-C job opening with one of our fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeons. This role requires a strong understanding of orthopedic medicine, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This position includes treating patients in the office and also assisting in the operating room.
Responsibilities:
– Diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions, performing clinical procedures, injections and educating patients on post operative care and rehabilitation.
-Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to identify orthopedic conditions.
-Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations.
-Prescribe medications, physical therapy, and other treatments as necessary.
-Prepare patients for surgery by explaining procedures, obtaining informed consent, and conducting pre-operative assessments.
-Assist the orthopedic surgeon during surgical procedures.
-Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
-Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and data security.
Pay: dependent on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
