OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
Duties– Conduct thorough patient assessments and histories to determine appropriate treatment plans.- Assist in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-hospitalization.- Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve patient outcomes.- Provide direct patient care, including IV infusion therapy and administering Botulinum toxin treatments as needed.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital setting to enhance patient education and support.- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.- Stay current with advancements in pediatrics and other relevant specialties to provide comprehensive care.
Experience– A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.- Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in pediatrics or similar areas, is preferred.- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and clinical trials is advantageous.- Proficiency in medical terminology and the use of electronic health record systems is essential.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.

Pay: $70.00 – $90.00 per hour
