OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Otolaryngology (ENT) practice. The PA will work closely with our team of ENT specialists to provide high-quality care for patients with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions. Responsibilities include performing patient evaluations, diagnosing ENT disorders, assisting with in-office procedures, and managing treatment plans. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical exams, with a focus on ENT conditions.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for conditions such as sinus infections, hearing loss, allergies, tonsillitis, and vocal disorders.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including audiometry, nasal endoscopy, and imaging studies.
- Assist in and perform in-office procedures, such as ear cleaning, nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, and biopsies.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and preventative health measures related to ENT disorders.
- Prescribe medications, including antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and allergy treatments.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing ENT surgeries.
- Collaborate with physicians, audiologists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health system.
- Stay current with advancements in ENT care through continuing medical education (CME).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to perform minor in-office procedures confidently.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,568.00 – $150,693.00 per year
