Job OverviewAs a Physician Assistant at our Level I Trauma Center, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to the well-being of individuals in need.
Duties– Conduct health coaching sessions with patients to promote wellness and disease prevention- Assist in medical research projects and clinical trials- Utilize Cerner or similar systems for patient charting and management- Perform medical procedures such as gastric lavage and wound care- Collaborate with physicians in various specialties including internal medicine and infectious disease care- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols in all patient interactions
Qualifications– Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program- Certification as a Physician Assistant- Experience working in a medical-surgical setting preferred- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems like Cerner- Strong knowledge of internal medicine practices- Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures- Ability to provide care in a fast-paced environment at a Level I Trauma Center
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $78.50 – $85.00 per hour
