**Physician Assistant Job Description** **Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, promote health education, and support our medical team in delivering exceptional healthcare services. This is a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to contribute to the well-being of our patients and community. **Duties** The Physician Assistant will work in a fast-paced acute care environment, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Key responsibilities include: – Conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting lab results to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. – Developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. – Providing patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care. – Prescribing medications and therapies as needed. – Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records. – Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying current with the latest medical knowledge and best practices. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, the Physician Assistant must possess: – A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field. – A current PA license in good standing. – Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). – Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, and/or pediatrics. – Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and HIPAA regulations. – Familiarity with occupational health and nursing home settings. – Proficiency in electronic medical records systems. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. – Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. **Skills** – Strong understanding of DME equipment and procedures. – Experience with acute care and hospital medicine. – Knowledge of occupational health and nursing home settings. – Certification in internal medicine. – Proficiency in ICD-10 coding. – Familiarity with hospital medicine and pediatrics. – Experience with electronic medical records systems. – Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations. – Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Strong patient-centered care and commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Pay: $128,080.00 – $138,698.00 per year
