Full Job Description

The Physician Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a physician to assist with patient evaluations, documentation, and care coordination. This role is ideal for a motivated assisted who values mentorship, professional growth, and the chance to contribute to an interdisciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and assist with patient assessments, follow-up visits, and care coordination under physician supervision.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the medical record.
  • Support clinical procedures and patient management as directed by supervising physicians.
  • Serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, and support staff to ensure smooth communication and continuity of care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active California Physician Assistant License (PA) — required
  • DEA Registration — preferred; required if prescribing or handling controlled substances
  • New graduates with strong clinical skills and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor, reliability, and a collaborative team attitude.
