Full Job Description
The Physician Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a physician to assist with patient evaluations, documentation, and care coordination. This role is ideal for a motivated assisted who values mentorship, professional growth, and the chance to contribute to an interdisciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and assist with patient assessments, follow-up visits, and care coordination under physician supervision.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the medical record.
- Support clinical procedures and patient management as directed by supervising physicians.
- Serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, and support staff to ensure smooth communication and continuity of care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active California Physician Assistant License (PA) — required
- DEA Registration — preferred; required if prescribing or handling controlled substances
- New graduates with strong clinical skills and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
