OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to lead our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient health, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively other healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in treating patients with our diabetic treatment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations, when applicable.
- Provide diabetes education to patients regarding their condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Wound care for diabetics not required, but a plus.
- Consult with patient’s PCP as needed.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid CA state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Strong skills in patient care management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and health coaching.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Participate in training and ability to train the staff.
- Strong data collection.
- Working with the EMR system Servocity and participate in training as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $108,158.67 – $130,255.61 per year
