Join our dynamic multi-specialty medical group as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outpatient care. You’ll work closely with our medical team to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care management. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with specialists across various disciplines and contribute to a patient-centered care model. This ideal candidate will work with our Endocrinology department.
Our clinics are located in Century City and Panorama City, CA.
Patient Care & Clinical Practice:
- Be a part of a great specialty medical group. Partner with medical staff and nursing teams to facilitate seamless patient management.
- Utilize your expertise to independently assess, diagnose, and initiate medical processes or procedures in line with approved protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments.
- Formulate diagnoses, identify health risks, and document care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, consult with medical staff, and perform procedures within your scope of practice.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters to support efficient billing processes.
Service Performance:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting patients warmly and addressing their needs with care and professionalism.
- Act as a role model for service excellence, ensuring that both patients and colleagues are treated with respect and consideration.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, offering solutions and supporting business growth.
- Take ownership of challenges, offering innovative solutions and contributing to a positive work environment.
Education & Professional Development:
- Educate patients and their families on diagnostic procedures, treatments, and post-care plans.
- Participate in the development of educational materials and programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Serve as a mentor and preceptor for aspiring advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Current NP or PA license to practice in California.
- Special training and certification in acute care preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- Personal malpractice insurance as required by the Medical Staff and Board of Directors.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
