Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include performing diagnostic evaluations, assisting in surgical procedures, and providing acute care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Orthopaedics.
Duties:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and medication management- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans- Triage patients based on severity of condition and provide appropriate interventions- Perform research activities to contribute to evidence-based practice
Skills:- Proficient in various healthcare systems and electronic medical records- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results accurately- Excellent triage skills to assess patient needs effectively
Qualifications:- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)- Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
