Full Job Description

WHCC is deemed by the Bureau of Primary Health Care of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to be a federal employee for purposes of medical malpractice claims and, as such, qualified for protection under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Watts Healthcare Corporation is seeking experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants for; Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, and Women’s Health departments to join our team! Excellent benefits and sign-on bonus offered.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions.
  • Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis based on patient’s condition,
  • Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
  • Discuss cases with physician and other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program and certification by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • A license to practice nursing in California.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in an outpatient health care setting.
  • Familiarity with patient care.
  • Good verbal and written communication.

COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS:

All patients are subjected to COVID screening and are required to wear a mask when not receiving treatment. All staff members must be fully vaccinated.
