Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine or Psychiatry)
(Any specialty- or Psychiatry) to join our healthcare team for mental health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality health care to patients, conducting assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. This role requires a strong understanding of depression and anxiety and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients, ensuring adherence to medication protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay informed about current best practices in psychiatric care, including infection control measures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in areas such as pediatrics, acute pain management, internal medicine, and critical care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Addiction Medicine or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
- Current certification as a FNP (Family Nurse practitioner) or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or equivalent licensure.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of physiology related to mental health.
- Experience or knowledge in venipuncture for medication administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols within a clinical setting.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage acute psychiatric conditions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
