Come care with us at West Coast University! As a Clinical Coordinator for a certified Great Place to Work, you will provide administrative support services to the Manager of Clinical Education and Program Director, Physician Assistant Program. Ensuring a seamless operation in an effort to allow the department to fulfill its goals. Provide excellent customer service to current and graduating students in accordance with the mission and purpose of the college.
You will make an impact by:
  • Identify clinical placements, assisting in clinical site acquisition, and following second year students through the processing of sites.
  • Work directly with leadership to prepare for and maintain compliance with accrediting bodies.
  • Prepares meeting agendas, memos, and correspondence; completes a variety of non-routine assignments.
  • Coordinate and assist graduates with job interviews and obtaining entry-level healthcare career opportunities.

Your Experience Includes:
  • Two to three years of experience performing complex and responsible office and administrative/secretarial duties, preferably including some administrative support work for one or more managers in an academic, business or medical office environment.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.
  • Proficient command of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and correct usage of the English language.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office systems, practices, and administration.
  • Proficient skills and experience in Microsoft Office computer software systems that includes word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Proficient reception and telephone communication skills and techniques.
  • Evidence of principles and practices of classifying, indexing, processing, retrieving, and controlling a large volume of records.
  • Evidence of record keeping, account maintenance, and purchasing practices and procedures
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
