Pacific Mind Health is a mental health wellness practice with a mission to build a world where everyone has access to exceptional mental healthcare. With several locations across the state, we strive to make quality care affordable while providing a nurturing environment for clinician growth and development. We provide a range of services including medication management, genetic testing, individual psychotherapy, psychiatric testing, TMS, EMDR, group therapy, family and couples therapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, es-Ketamine nasal spray (Spravato), and much more.

We want our clinicians to focus on clinical care! We provide patients, admin support, consultation, and a friendly team to call family. No need for billing, marketing, networking, or administrative headaches.

Pay: $80-90/hour ($166,400 – $187,200/year based on 40hrs/wk)Type of Employment: Full-time or part-time (minimum 20hrs/week)

The Clinical Experience:

Scope of full-time vs. part-time:

  • Part-time: Provide a minimum of 20 hours per week, any hours of any days – your choice
  • Full-time: Provide a minimum of 30 hours per week, any hours of any days – your choice
  • Benefits vary based on employment status.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality, compassionate and ethical outpatient mental health care
  • Maintain an active, unrestricted license or registration to practice in California
  • Complete clinical documentation within 7-days and meet clinic required documentation standards
  • Evaluate, develop, and treat psychiatric disorders in adults and adolescents (12+).
  • Provide continuous assessment, diagnosis, and medication management of comprehensive mental health services in-office and via telehealth.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical and mental health providers
  • Work with a diverse patient population providing comprehensive evaluations to determine a differential diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Maintain confidentiality and patient privacy.
  • Complies with organizational, departmental, state/federal guidelines & all regulatory agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
  • At least one (1) year of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting providing mental health treatment, including experience prescribing mood stabilizers and antipsychotics. Other specialty experience does not qualify.
  • Candidates must have a valid and current CA NP or PA license in good standing without any disciplinary action(s).
  • Candidate must have a valid California DEA registration.
  • Performs other tasks as needed for patient care and efficient functioning of the practice.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 – $90.00 per hour
