About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant with specialized expertise in orthopedic and spine surgery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting orthopedic and spine surgeons in both surgical and clinical settings. What You Will Do

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Assist spine surgeons in pre-operative evaluations, surgical procedures, and post-operative care.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and medical history reviews
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising surgeon.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on treatment options, surgical procedures, and post operative care instructions.
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participated in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborated with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • California licensed
  • Minimum of two years of experience working as a Physician Assistant in spine surgery
  • Proficiency in assisting with a variety of orthopedic and spine procedures.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $155,000.00 per year
