GentleCare Laser Aesthetics is a premier medical spa located in Long Beach, CA that offers a range of noninvasive cosmetic treatments designed to enhance the appearance and health of the skin. Some of the treatments available at GentleCare Laser Aesthetics include laser skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, injections, microneedling, and facials. The team at GentleCare Laser Aesthetics is led by experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to each and every one of their clients. In addition to offering a variety of aesthetic treatments, GentleCare Laser Aesthetics also provides a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients to enjoy.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team as an Aesthetic Specialist. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional aesthetic treatments, including laser procedures and injectables, to our clients. This is a part-time position that requires 3-4 days a week, at least 20 hours, with office hours from 9am-6pm Monday through Friday or from 9am-2pm on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their aesthetic goals and develop customized treatment plans.
  • Perform laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and other laser-based treatments using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques.
  • Administer injectable treatments, such as Botox and dermal fillers, with precision and skill, ensuring optimal results and client satisfaction.
  • Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all treatments and client interactions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other members of the medspa team, including physicians, nurses, and estheticians, to coordinate care and achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Stay current on the latest developments and best practices in aesthetic medicine, attending trainings and continuing education courses as needed.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in CA.
  • Certification or training in aesthetic medicine, including experience with laser procedures and injectable treatments. (Preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetics. (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide compassionate care. (Required)
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment. (Required)
