Job Description:

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-respected, physician owned and operated medical practice which includes premium OB/GYN care and family practice in beautiful Lodi wine country. We focus on a service oriented medical team approach to the OB/GYN specialty. Nurse practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) provide health care services to patients who may have acute episodic conditions or chronic problems, as well as those seeking health evaluation, preventive care and/or education and counseling. NP/PAs perform complete physical examinations, including ordering, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic tests and examinations. Assume on-going responsibility for each patient from discovery of the disorder to recovery. Diagnose and treat both chronic and episodic disorders including complications of otherwise normal processes. Establish and document the health care plan and diagnosis, maintain records of each case that are sufficiently complete for any physician reviewing them to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan. Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our patients, contracted providers and vendors.

Compensation: Six Figure Base Salary. We are willing to interview new graduates but 1-2+ years of experience preferred.

Job Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Job Requirement:

  • OB/GYN NP experience is preferred but not required.
  • NP/PA Certification completion from an accredited nursing program.
  • Must have an active NP licensure in the State of California.
  • Must have prescriptive authorization, active DEA license.
  • Must be proficient with medical instruments and equipment required by the work
  • Knowledge of computer-bases data management programs and information systems, as well as electronic medical records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written form, with medical partners at various levels, patients, family members, physicians and representatives of the community.
  • Understand all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Work onsite in one location, may be required to travel from office to office when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $130,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
