Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
-Minimum 2 years of experience in family or internal medicine- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary- Perform minor procedures, such as suturing wounds and removing sutures- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Nextgen or similar electronic health record system
Skills:- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation standards- Experience with screening procedures such as pap smear- Knowledge of public health principles and practices- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to formulate treatment plans- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction
-Arabic, Spanish, Farsi, or Chinese-speaking is a plus
