Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Physician to join our healthcare team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of wound care management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ wounds and overall health status.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and perform procedures related to wound care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding wound care management and prevention strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in wound care practices.
- Utilize Telehealth services when appropriate to enhance patient access to care.
Skills
- Proficient in managing medical records and documentation processes.
- Strong knowledge of infectious disease care related to wound management.
- Experience in addiction counseling as it pertains to patient recovery.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols in a clinical setting.
- Background in ICU or hospital medicine is advantageous for managing complex cases.
- Ability to perform procedures involving dermal fillers when necessary for wound aesthetics.
- Competence in ventilating patients when required during acute care situations.
- Research skills to stay informed about new treatments and technologies in wound care.
