Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various types of wounds, ensuring optimal healing and recovery. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of wound care management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient outcomes.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ wounds and overall health status.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures related to wound care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding wound care management and prevention strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in wound care practices.
  • Utilize Telehealth services when appropriate to enhance patient access to care.

Skills

  • Proficient in managing medical records and documentation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of infectious disease care related to wound management.
  • Experience in addiction counseling as it pertains to patient recovery.
  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols in a clinical setting.
  • Background in ICU or hospital medicine is advantageous for managing complex cases.
  • Ability to perform procedures involving dermal fillers when necessary for wound aesthetics.
  • Competence in ventilating patients when required during acute care situations.
  • Research skills to stay informed about new treatments and technologies in wound care.
