Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
– Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
– Prescribe medications and other treatments
– Develop and implement patient care plans
– Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Skills:
– Public health: Knowledge of public health principles and practices to promote the well-being of individuals, families, and communities
– Triage: Ability to assess the urgency of a patient’s condition and prioritize care accordingly
– Procedures: Skill in performing laceration repair, incision and drainage, joint injections, and ingrown toenails.
-Efficiency: Ability to see 4 patients an hour.
-Communcation: Good communication skills with patients and staff. Vietnamese speaking would be a plus!
