Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. This role requires a strong understanding of medical practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Perform various medical procedures such as spinal taps and botulinum toxin treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper medical coding for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical knowledge, anatomy, and hospital medicine practices.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA) and state licensure are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, and medical coding practices is essential.
- Previous experience in a PRIMARY CARE outpatient office is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Pay: $151,448.00 – $161,496.00 per year
