Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing a wide range of medical procedures, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as necessary- Provide routine check-ups, medical consultations, and referrals- Perform procedures under the supervision of a physician- Administer injections, perform lab draws as needed- Ensure all medical records are accurate and up-to-date, adhering to HIPAA guidelines- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans- Provide urgent care services as needed- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following aseptic technique- Stay current with the latest medical standards of care
Experience:
– Must have a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field- Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)- Must have experience working in a medical office setting or similar environment- Must have a strong understanding of primary care– Must have experience providing urgent care services- Must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to accurately document patient information- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient volume- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Must be committed to providing exceptional patient care and service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship
Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
