Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), affiliated with UCSF Fresno, has an excellent opportunity for a licensed full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department (ED) at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, California. CRMC is the only Level 1 Trauma Center/Burn Center serving multiple counties in Central California and is a teaching institution with Residency programs in all of the major medical specialties, including Emergency Medicine and an Emergency Medicine PA Residency.

The CRMC ED is one of the busiest in California with significant patient pathology. Multiple resources are available, such as bedside ultrasound, language interpreters, case managers, social workers, full specialty support, and more. Physician assistants or Nurse Practitioners practice in all areas of the ED, see a wide range of acuities, and perform advanced procedures. Emergency medicine faculty are leaders within EM:RAP, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants. The department also has an active EMS, ultrasound, research, and wilderness medicine program. Numerous educational opportunities are available within the Emergency Medicine Residency.

Salary: $119,000 – $126,000

The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation may be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors. Actual compensation may also vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, and/or productivity

Requirements:

California Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license or eligible to obtain prior to hire.

2 years of ED/Urgent Care experience preferred or completion of an Emergency Medicine PA residency/fellowship.
