Bilingual Physician Assistant (Radiology)

Location: Fresno, CA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8-5 or 7:30-4:30), No weekends

Sign-on & Relocation Bonus Available!

Overview:

We are seeking a Bilingual Physician Assistant with experience in Radiology to join our team! The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in radiology procedures, be fluent in English and Spanish, and preferably hold a California fluoroscopy permit (though not required). You will play a key role in patient consultations, interventional radiology procedures, and comprehensive patient care in a supportive, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

  • Pre-procedure patient evaluation and preparation, including reviewing labs, imaging, H&Ps, consents, and coordinating care.
  • Inpatient rounding and consultations in collaboration with interventional radiologists.
  • Order pertinent labs and imaging and document care plans in medical records.
  • Provide follow-up care, including phone consultations, addressing patient concerns, and coordinating care with other providers.

Procedural Duties:

  • Upon proven competency, independently perform procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Paracentesis and Thoracentesis under ultrasound guidance.
  • Placement, exchange, and removal of tunneled and non-tunneled catheters including implanted ports.
  • Lumbar puncture and myelography under fluoroscopic guidance.
  • Injection, exchange, and removal of drainage catheters (e.g., abscess drains, gastrostomy tubes, nephrostomy tubes, and cholecystostomy tubes).

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently registered as PA-C.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with radiology procedures (paras, lumbar punctures, biopsies, and line placements).
  • Current ACLS certification and Physician Assistant License required.
  • California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit preferred.
  • Spanish fluency preferred for enhanced patient communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
