Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our mobile podiatry care team, focusing on podiatry and wound care. In this role, you will provide high-quality podiatric care to patients in their resting home / facility, ensuring accessibility and comfort.
*Location will be in the Fresno and Tulare Counties.
Canyon Oaks Foot and Ankle has been serving the Central Valley in California since 2014! We have expanded into Long Term Care and we are now providing travel podiatry services to Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities. We are looking for someone who has a passion to serve the aging population. *No prior experience in Podiatry is necessary*. Training will be provided before going out to see patients independently.
We will provide a medical assistant, scribe, equipment, supplies and perform all administrative functions (including coding and billing).
Responsibilities / Expectations at end of training:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations of podiatric conditions and wounds.
- Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle disorders, as well as manage chronic and acute wounds.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on foot care, wound management, and preventative strategies.
- Travel to patient locations to deliver care.
- Diabetic foot care and Treat wounds
Qualifications:
- Newly graduated practitioners without experience accepted
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Current NP or PA license in [CA].

Pay: $72.94 – $90.00 per hour
