Full Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Aesthetic Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality aesthetic patient care. The Aesthetic Physician Assistant will carry out various non-surgical procedures, such as Botox & Filler injections, laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and chemical peels, under the supervision of a licensed physician.

SUMMARYUnder the direction of the supervising physician, the Aesthetic Physician Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of patient care in the area of Aesthetic Laser and Injectables.

Primary Duties:

  • Assist physician by conducting patient consultations and assessments.
  • Assist physician in non-surgical or aesthetic needs of oculoplastic patients.
  • Carry out patient treatment plans for laser and injectable procedures in accordance with applicable law.
  • Consult and document patient treatment plans.
  • Completion of medical chart notes in accordance with company policy.
  • Where necessary, carry out medical intake of patient Health & Physical forms.
  • Under the written authorization and prescriptions of the supervision physician, the Aesthetic Physician Assistant will provide services to patients.
  • Suggest products based on patient needs.
  • Keep up with the latest medical and aesthetic surgery protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and clean procedure room.
  • Follow Eye Medical Center of Fresno Sharps policy along with all other OSHA related workplace safety guidelines.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all protected health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Protection of job confidentiality including company trade secrets.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Additional Position Requirements:

  • Maintain licensure.
  • Provide employer with license documentation.
  • Support business with product sales consistent with all existing laws and regulations.

  • Blend education, skills, and experience on an ongoing basis.
  • Complete job duties in minimal timeframe, with minimal errors.
  • Appearance and habits, does come to work with presentable personal hygiene and attire.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain job attendance with minimal absence.
  • Perform job duties in spite of unforeseen obstacles, with team spirit and personal temperament under stress and pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or aesthetic setting.
  • Certification from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current state Physician Assistant license
  • Experience with aesthetic treatments such as Botox, Fillers, and Laser procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of skin care products and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Characteristics:

  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
  • Ability to listen and understand on the phone, what others say and request that patients are scheduled for the appropriate consultations.
  • Presentable personal hygiene
  • Dexterity, able to manipulate multiple work devices.
  • Stand, stretching, bending, and stooping for long or frequent terms of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
