Full Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including nursing homes and outpatient facilities. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment plans. A strong understanding of data management and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks is essential. Experience with dermal fillers and occupational health is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform procedures as necessary, including administering dermal fillers.
  • Manage patient data efficiently using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide coordinated care.
  • Participate in the MDS (Minimum Data Set) process for nursing home patients.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide support in occupational health assessments as needed.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Experience in senior care or nursing home settings is preferred.
  • Proficient in data management practices and electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience in outpatient care settings is advantageous.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
