Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at Coastal Pacific Dermatology with Dr. Sheila Krishna MD FAAD.
This a part time position and the schedule can be flexible- it’s a great opportunity to learn more about dermatology and dermatologic conditions. The position would begin in late summer or early fall 2024.
Duties:
– Assess and treat follow up patients with supervision by MD
– Assess and treat post surgical patients with supervision by MD
– Assess and treat cosmetic patients with supervision by MD
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree- PA degree and active licensure
Experience:- 3-5 years of being a practicing PA is required; ideally in dermatology, family medicine, internal medicine, or ER. Candidates who have less experience but have experience as a dermatology MA will be considered.- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology- Basic understanding of common dermatological ailments and treatments- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities
