OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various health conditions. This position requires a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to perform physical examinations and administer injections. The Physician Assistant will work in a hospital setting, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
• Assist in diagnosing illnesses and developing treatment plans under the supervision of physicians.
• Administer injections and perform various medical procedures as needed.
• Interpret medical imaging results and collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnoses.
• Provide patient education on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in hospital medicine practices, including managing patient care in inpatient settings.
• Perform catheterization procedures when necessary and ensure patient comfort throughout.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential.
• Experience in administering injections is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and standards of care.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive physical examinations effectively.
• Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging results to aid in diagnosis.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams effectively.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards.
• Relevant certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $125,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
