Full Job Description
- As an Urgent Care/Primary Care Provider you are responsible for direct patient care. This would include examination and treatment of patients, recommendation, supervision of overall health concerns of the patient, and completion of all necessary paperwork involved in this process.
- Cover other primary care physicians in evaluating and treating private practice patients.
- Evaluate and treat patients independently as an attending physician. This includes obtaining patient’s medical history and documenting on EMR. In addition, you are responsible for creating a progress note for each encounter with each patient you have evaluated. A progress note will include Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan sections, and must be completed after each examination.
- Promote a friendly, warm, and exceptional customer experience
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential by abiding by all HIPAA rules and regulations.
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Work in an environment where MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs are well-established and respected members of the clinical team.
- Acts as a liaison with Chief Executive Officer to ensure consistent adherence to established customer care standards and medical treatment protocols.
- Diagnoses and treats common medical conditions and manages the stable phases of chronic illnesses in consultation with the physician.
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and would care, and managing infection.
- Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
- Assists in medical chart review for patient follow-up and quality
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens , normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Maintains adequate medical records on all patients, including follow-up referrals, and meets on a regular basis with the physician to go over charting and/or medical care provided.
- Adheres to health center standards for productivity as defined by the Chief Medical Officer and senior management.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by Chief Executive Officer.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $114,400.00 – $135,200.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
