Title: Physician Assistant
Reports To: Medical Doctor
Responsibility: Provide patient care
Under the direct supervision of a Physician
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for advanced level of nursing evaluation.
2. Perform clinical assessment
3. Assesses the condition and care of patients.
4. Prescribe and monitor medications and follow-up care for patient.
5. Provides treatments using therapeutic equipment.
6. Patient and family teaching.
7. Supervises and/or coordinates the activities of patient care and/or
support staff.
8. Coordinates care of patients, monitors documentations, and ensures
enforcements of rules and regulations, including staff and requirements
Performs emergency treatments.
9. Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods
10. Performs related work as required.
11. Perform all other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental
regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Qualifications:
1. Pursuant to Section 3503 of the California Business and Professions
Code, possession of a license to practice as a Physician’s Assistant
from the California Physician’s Assistants Examining Committee of the
Medical Board of California is required at time of application and must
be maintained throughout employment.
2. The Physician Assistant shall have experience in community based
public health programs or clinics providing services to the community.

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
