OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join a new established medical clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be proficient in various medical procedures. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans under the supervision of a MD. The Nurse Practitioner or the Physician Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients on preventive care and wellness strategies.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant license in CA
- Advanced practice degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation law, occupational health, and pain management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Strong analytical skills for effective utilization review processes.
