Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA) – Los Angeles Pain Management Practice

We are a prominent Pain Management Practice in Los Angeles specializing in medical-legal cases. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals dealing with pain while also collaborating with legal professionals to offer expert opinions in medical legal cases. We are currently expanding and seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced PA, we offer comprehensive training to help you specialize in the field of pain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultations & Follow-Ups: Conduct initial patient consultations to assess pain levels, review medical histories and determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide follow-up care to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed.
- Pain Management Procedures: Perform trigger point and joint injections under the supervision of our physicians. Additional training will be provided if necessary.
- Medical Legal Cases: Participate in medical-legal assessments, helping provide expert medical documentation and testimony related to chronic pain conditions for legal proceedings.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors and other medical-legal professionals to individualize treatment plans for patients.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient visits, including treatment plans, progress notes and legal documentation.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to different clinic locations in the Los Angeles area. Travel may include visits to various clinics for in-person consultations and procedures.
- Telehealth: We offer flexible scheduling, including telehealth opportunities on select clinical days to accommodate both patients and your work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of California (or eligible for licensure).
- New Graduates Welcome: While experience in pain management is a plus, we are able to provide training to new graduates who are eager to specialize in this field.
- Strong Clinical Skills: Proficient in patient assessments, treatment planning, and performing medical procedures (e.g., trigger point and joint injections). Training in injections will be provided if needed.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, colleagues, and legal professionals.
- Ability to Travel: Must be willing to travel to various clinic locations around Los Angeles.
- Telehealth Comfort: Familiarity with telehealth platforms or willingness to learn is required.
- Professionalism: Demonstrates strong professionalism and ethical standards, especially in the context of medical-legal cases.
