Full Job Description
We are looking for a PA-C/NP, who is passionate about advocating for our BIPOC community. We have two locations. Our primary location is in Compton and our other clinic is in Norwalk. We have the following positions open full-time/part-time/per diem.
Duties:
– Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician
– Conduct physical examinations and review medical histories
– Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work
– Develop and implement treatment plans
– Prescribe medications and administer treatments
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
– Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options
Skills:
– Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
– MUST have Pediatric experience: Knowledge and experience in providing medical care for infants, children, and adolescents.
– Public health: Understanding of public health principles and ability to promote health education and disease prevention within the community.
– Triage: Skill in assessing the urgency of patient conditions and prioritizing care accordingly.
– ICD-10: Familiarity with the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding system for accurate documentation and billing purposes.
Required:
– Current DEA number
– Current APRN license or PA-C license
Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
