Duties:
– Conduct physical examinations and diagnose patients’ conditions- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab tests and imaging studies- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed- Provide primary care services, including routine check-ups and health maintenance- Work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care- Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as required- Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Cerner to document patient information and manage patient care- Participate in acute care settings, including hospital medicine and home care- Ensure accurate coding for patient records and billing purposes
Experience:
– A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a hospital setting- Strong experience in primary care and hospital medicine- Familiarity with Cerner EMRs and coding systems- Proven experience in administering injections and performing phlebotomy- Experience working in acute care environments, including home care- Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnose patients’ conditions- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
