Mid-Level Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to evaluate and manage cardiovascular patients under the direct supervision of a cardiologist. The provider will participate in clinical management and review and communicate diagnostic study results. Cardiology experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

· Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions under physician supervision

· Perform history and physical exams and document care accurately

· Review diagnostic studies (labs, ECGs, echoes, stress tests) and communicate results

· Provide patient education on disease management and preventive strategies

· Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and administrative teams

· Maintain excellent documentation in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

· Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of California

· Proficiency in Spanish (spoken) required

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or related specialty

· Experience with diverse and underserved patient populations

Schedule and Benefits

· Full-time position (40 hours/week)

· Two weeks of paid vacation, not including holidays

Salary Range (Annual)

To remain competitive in the San Diego market, the anticipated range is:

For Nurse Practitioners (NP):

• Approximately $135,000 to $190,000 per year depending on experience and scope

For Physician Assistants (PA):

• Approximately $135,000 to $190,000 per year depending on experience and market demand

(Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and clinic productivity.)
