Job Title: Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Surgeon
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. The successful candidate will work alongside our board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the orthopedic surgeon.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, MRIs, and blood tests.
- Assist in the operating room during surgical procedures.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care post-surgery.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current PA license in the state.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in orthopedics preferred.
- Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and treatments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
