Job Title: Physician Assistant for Orthopedic Surgeon

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. The successful candidate will work alongside our board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the orthopedic surgeon.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, MRIs, and blood tests.
  • Assist in the operating room during surgical procedures.
  • Provide patient education and follow-up care post-surgery.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current PA license in the state.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in orthopedics preferred.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and treatments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
