Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Prompt Care opening in Northern, CA. Why You Should Apply Day shift working in prompt care / occupational health Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare services. You’ll offer clinically competent diagnoses, psychosocial assessments and management of health-illness needs Provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff. About You and Your experience: Be able to do the job as described. Recent experience in urgent care, family practice, rural health care, walk-in medical care, occupational medicine. New graduates will be considered! Experience with evaluation & treatment in workers’ compensation/injured worker episodic care setting, occupational and environmental health clinic, and /or employee health nurse in a medical or industrial facility MSN, Nurse Practitioner or Masters, Physician Assistant, PA-C with a current California NP or NP License and DEA number or proof of application. BLS, ACLS (within 6 months), PALS recognition (within 1 year of hire) DOT Medical Examiner Certification (within 1 year of hire) Bilingual or Medical Spanish is very helpful. Area Info: Between Redding (75 miles northwest) and Sacramento (90 minutes south). Nice community offering small town living and a vibrant regional center for business.
