We are an established Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery practice with an immediate opening for a licensed California Physician Assistant to join our thriving Plastic Surgery Practice. We are a fast-paced office, and we have a desire to build and develop one of the best places to work. We are looking for a new team member to be part of our family. This position is for part-time days Monday, Wednesday and Friday per diem or as needed.

Summary /Objective

As a Physician Assistant, your role will be providing patient care, surgical care, under the supervision of a plastic surgeon. In this role, you will assist with patient assessment, development of treatment plans, and peri- and post-operative care. You will also assist with cosmetic surgery procedures in the operating room (OR) and work to ensure high standards for patient care, carefully observing ethical and legal requirements. Additionally, your duties and responsibilities include providing discharge instructions, setting follow-up appointments, and answering questions for patients and their families

Essential Functions

  • Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under a supervised physician.
  • Contributes to physician’s efficiency by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues.
  • Recommends options and courses of action for patient care.
  • Implements physician directives.
  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examination including, updating, and studying medical histories.
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory studies and interpreting test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient’s record
  • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections, suturing, and managing wound care.
  • Provides community of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; and enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing professional publication(s), establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Develops health care team staff by providing information, education opportunities and experimental growth opportunities.
  • Ensures HIPPA compliance at all times.
  • Follow and read company policy.
  • Job duties may change to meet clinic needs.
  • Complete with all other job duties as requested by management.

Pay: $70.00 – $110.00 per hour
