Full Job Description
A licensed, full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) is needed in a family medicine clinic located in Bellflower, CA (near the 91 freeway). We need a diligent person who can multi-task with perfect precision and accuracy. The individual must be self-directed, personable, punctual, and possess the skills necessary to provide a high quality of care in a busy clinic and develop ongoing relationships with the patients. The PA or NP will see patients from newborns to geriatrics. At least 1 year of work in Family Medicine preferred, but is not required. New grads are welcome to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Our clinic schedule is from Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm (lunch from 1-2pm), no on-call, no travel to other clinic sites, nor weekends. Friendly working environment. PA/NP job descriptions:
Under the supervision of the medical doctors, the PA/NP will provide patients comprehensive primary care for the pediatric and adult patients. Which includes examination, diagnose, order appropriate tests/immunizations, and treat patients in a timely manner. Make appropriate referrals when needed and call patients about their results. Computer skill is required because our clinic is using EHR/EMR system.
