This well-established neurology practice provides superior care for patients experiencing diseases related to the nervous system. The practice is seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its team of three physicians and three advanced practice providers. The practice is open to new graduates there is always a physician available for consultation.
The NP/PA will see patients for all of their follow-up visits. Specific job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assess patients needs, order or perform tests, interpret results and offer diagnosis and education
- Prescribe medications, treatments, therapy
- Collaborate with Physician for diagnosis and treatment plan
- Consult with patients primary care physician and other specialists
- The ideal candidate would be willing to round on patients in the hospital, but this is not a requirement
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- No evenings or weekends!
Experience and Qualifications:
- Current California NP or PA License
- Unencumbered DEA License (withing 30 days of hire)
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Energetic and enthusiastic about career growth and development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
