Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of urgent care patients
- Perform physical exams and order/interprete diagnostics (labs, imaging)
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Document clinical care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, preventive measures, and follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians and clinic staff to ensure quality care
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in California
- National certification (e.g., NCCPA for PAs, ANCC/ AANP for NPs)
- BLS required
- Urgent care, emergency, or family medicine experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to multitask in clinic environment
Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 per week
