Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to join our OC Urgent Care Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in various settings. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Assist in critical care situations and provide support in emergency room settings.
• Interpret medical imaging results and collaborate with radiologists for further evaluation.
• Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses and treatments.
• Manage patient data effectively, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Provide care in occupational health settings, promoting wellness and preventive measures.
• Educate patients on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner.
• Proficiency in medication administration and basic life support techniques.
• Experience or knowledge in critical care environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical imaging processes and interpretation.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate medical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
