Full Job Description
CarePlus Medical Group is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for our Urgent Care Center.
Responsibilities:
– Provide urgent care services/primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly
– Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
– Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and conditions
– Prescribe and administer medications in accordance with state regulations
– Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies
– Provide pain management interventions and treatments
– Administer vaccinations and immunizations
– Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
– Provide education and counseling to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Requirements:
– Valid Nurse Practitioner license in CA
– Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
– Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
– Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
– Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
– Experience in acute care settings
– Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret laboratory results and imaging studies
– Familiarity with pain management strategies and interventions
– Ability to provide catheter care and perform minor surgical procedures
– Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols
– Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively educate patients on healthcare topics

Pay: $75.00 – $80.00 per hour
