Your Impact:
As an experienced Physician Assistant at Ventura Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering acute, chronic, and preventative care.
  • Providing primary care services.
  • Treating minor injuries and performing procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records according to company policies.
  • Collaborating effectively with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance clinical methods and procedures.
  • Assisting clinical staff in adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Upholding ethical, legal, and professional standards in compliance with regulations.
  • Safeguarding patient confidentiality and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Communicating feedback and concerns to the Medical Director.
  • Supporting administrative and marketing efforts to sustain and expand our practice.
  • Engaging in professional development and maintaining affiliations.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Leadership and management skills in a medical setting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful occupational health programs.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and relevant occupational health software.
