Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a short-term assignment of approximately 2 to 4 weeks at BSI Sacramento. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient dermatology setting. You will work alongside our clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of dermatological conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a wide variety of medical skin conditions.
- Perform procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and other common dermatologic treatments.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EHR in a timely manner.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive skin care.
- Maintain patient flow and uphold practice quality standards.
Requirements
- Current PA-C or NP licensure in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in dermatology.
- DEA license and relevant state prescribing authority.
- Proficiency with EHR systems.
- Strong procedural skills in outpatient dermatology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cosmetic dermatology, including injectables and lasers, is a plus.
- Prior locum or short-term coverage experience preferred.
- Board certification (NCCPA for PAs, ANCC, or AANP for NPs).
Pay: $75.00 – $86.00 per hour
