Overview:
Running Springs Pediatrics & Urgent care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. We deliver Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Specialty Care Services. As a Physician Assistant joining our team, you will work closely with physicians, MA’s, and other healthcare professionals to provide genuine high-quality patient care to a diverse population. Responsibilities:
– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
– Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
– Perform procedures such as family planning, phlebotomy, and administration of injections
– Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
– Assist in clinical research studies as needed
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
– Participate in discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions
– Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient encounters accurately
– Provide addiction counseling and health coaching as needed
Qualifications:
– Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
– Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant
– Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures
– Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and management
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Pay: $65.00 – $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
